Start the CK2 launcher and check 'CK2+ X.XX' in the list of mods.
Unzip any Hotfixes to your Crusader Kings II folder (same place you installed the mod in step 2).
If you have the Steam version of CK2, you may need to unzip to your My Documents/Paradox Interactive/Crusader Kings II folder in ADDITION to unzipping to your game directory as outlined in step 2.
For Steam users, the game directory is found in the steam folder, under steamapps/common/crusader kings II. IMPORTANT: The mod files should go into your GAME INSTALLATION folder, NOT your My Documents/Paradox Interactive folder.
